Kia Ora
I am looking for a house/pet sitter for 3 weeks starting29/01/26 through to the 22/02/2026. We live in Henderson, Auckland – about a 20min drive to the Auckland CBD. Its a great place to explore Auckland from being close to the city and beaches and lots of walking trails. We have public transport 5 min walk away, close to shops, restaurants and malls. The house has 3 bedrooms and a good outdoor area and fenced back yard. There is lots of room to park cars and street parking also.
We have a lovely 12yr old cat who is pretty independent but does love company. We also have a very energetic – a little needy, cuddly 1yr old german shorthaired pointer x Vizsla puppy. He has had someone around him a lot of the time so is used to having company – in saying that he is crate trained and can manage a period of up to 5 hours in his crate during the day. (He sleeps all night in his crate) He is still learning his manners and can be quite excitable, barks and thinks everyone wants to play all the time and doesn’t know the concept of personal space, so he needs someone who is used to managing large dogs. He is lovely and will give you the best snuggles and attention. We have a park at the end of our road that is great for giving him a good run to burn off some energy.
