Caring German family looking after your home like their own
About
Hey you! We are a warm and responsible family of four from Berlin, Germany, planning to spend several months in New Zealand in 2027.
I work as a psychologist and leadership coach, and my partner Stefan works in IT in the public sector. Reliability, clear communication and respect are very important to us. We are non-smokers, very tidy, and we treat every home with great care.
As a family, we love swimming, hiking and spending time outdoors. We feel very comfortable in quiet, rural environments and close to nature. At the same time, being within reasonable distance of a town or small city would be ideal, as both of our daughters would love to attend a local school for about three months during our stay.
For the past one and a half years, we have regularly looked after our sponsor dog and truly enjoy caring for dogs. Having a dog of our own is something we would love in the future, so we would be very happy to look after one or more dogs during a housesit. We also have experience with cats, fish and rabbits.
We learn quickly, are reliable with routines, and would also feel comfortable helping to look after a small farm if needed. Stefan is very practical and skilled with repairs and small maintenance tasks.
We understand how much trust it takes to leave your home and animals in someone else’s hands. You can rely on us to take care of everything responsibly, keep you informed if you wish, and leave your home clean and well looked after.
