Hi. I’m Kim, a Canadian and a New Zealander living just north of Auckland. Thank you for looking at my profile. I am a loving companion for your dear ones while you’re enjoying your adventures.
I have a home myself but no pets. I love travelling too. I know the significance of knowing your home and pets are well cared for when you go on adventures.
I’ve had pets most of my life. In Canada and here in New Zealand I’ve house/ pet sat on several occasions. These pets include: Fergal (the Wheaten Terrier) who had to be taken to the emergency vet just upon my arrival after eating something in the bush. He was hospitalized for 24 hours (probably unrequired in hindsight), then I had to try and get him to take medication on an empty stomach. That was pointless and expensive; Gilbert (the Schnauzer); Honey (a mixed breed older female 3 legged dog, requiring medication for arthritis); Mia the cat; Pixie the Havanese; Adorable Jude mixed breed; and my next door neighbor’s rabbit Easter with the wonky ear.
I’m employed, working as a social worker and a behaviour therapist. I work mostly with families who have neurodiverse children. Being a behavior therapist comes in really handy with pets.!
I am a non smoker. I do most of my work on line so I can spend alot of time at home with your pets. You can expect that when I come into your home, it will be just as you left it upon your return.
To share space with animals in their own homes is a gift.
