About
Hi, I’m Emily.
Born and raised in Nelson, I’ve lived abroad for the last 15 years and have decided to move back home to NZ around August 2025 (currently in London). My Mum/sisters live in Nelson, Wellington and Auckland but I would prefer to take my time and house sit in different regions before deciding where to rent and settle (most likely Auckland area) after I return.
My partner, niece and dog will be coming to join me in Auckland once I’ve rented somewhere long-term (in time for our NZ summer) so I am looking to house sitting from August – October ish, before they arrive.
I have lots of experience house sitting in Melbourne, country Victoria and also in NZ. I’ve got a 4yr old blue heeler dog (read: son) of my own and I can’t help but see his little face in every other animal 🙂 I grew up with cats, and am experienced looking after goats, chickens and rabbits.
I’m very clean, tidy and respectful. I’m a Holistic Personal Trainer and have a very healthy lifestyle, I like to be up early, in the outdoors, am active, don’t drink alcohol etc. I also work remotely from my phone / laptop which comes in very handy for house sitting.
