About
Hi, we’re Anna and Lachie, an Australian farming family travelling with our two children, Addy and Fred.
We’re looking forward to spending time living and exploring New Zealand and would particularly love rural, farm and lifestyle-property house sits where we can genuinely be useful.
Rural life is very familiar to us. Lachie has spent his working life in agriculture, particularly sheep and cattle, and is experienced with livestock handling, animal husbandry, farm work and property care. As a family we also own and care for horses and ponies, so we’re very comfortable with feeding, checking stock, horses, dogs and the everyday jobs that come with looking after a rural property.
We’re landowners ourselves and understand how important it is to have people you can trust to care for your home, animals and property as if they were their own. We’re responsible, practical and happy to communicate regularly while you’re away.
Our children are used to farm life and animals and we’d love the opportunity to experience real New Zealand rural communities rather than simply travel through as tourists.
We’re especially interested in longer rural sits, but are very happy to consider different opportunities and locations throughout New Zealand.
