Family for CHCH – Long Term House Sit
About
We are Michael (30), Seira (33), Hadley (4), and Harper (2) seeking a long term house sitting opportunity between April 2026 and December 2026 in Christchurch.
Seira is a Registered Nurse turned draughtswoman. Seira did 6 years nursing before heading back into the engineering world. She now works for Ergo Consulting. Seira largely works from home – however she hopes to spend some time in the Ergo Christchurch office whilst in the city.
Michael is a Police Officer of 10 years, who has elected to change careers. He was lucky enough to secure a place to undertake Air Traffic Control training with Airways. His course starts at the end of April 2026, and is our reason for spending time in the beautiful city of Christchurch.
Michael’s course runs until December 2026, after which our family intend on returning to the North Island.
We are an honest, reliable, easy going family – you can have the utmost confidence in our ability to look after your home.
We have experience in looking after different animals and are OK with a challenge (if you’ve got one!). Michael spent a couple years working as a dog handler for the Police and so his experience there may be of use to you/your pets. He also has farm experience (dairy) and so has a practical mindset in tackling property maintenance & other home odd jobs.
