Friendly Dutch guy returning to NZ
About
Hi! I’m Justin; a 29 yr old dutchie who’s coming to visit NZ coming December 2025. I plan on staying on the northern island for 4 months, and am looking for a place to house sit around Auckland in December – Januari and around Taupo / Napier area in Februari – March. I have been to NZ before for an internship, which really made me fall in love with the place, and this time around I’m here to learn and see more of the island. Through most of the weeks I’m going to be quite anchored to one place because I’ll be working remotely for my current job in NL, and as such I think I might make a good candidate as a house sitter.
I like to think of myself as friendly, caring, dependable, and am naturally good with animals (always having had pets and growing up in a rural village helps). I’m a big fan of plants, have cared for heaps of them since it grew into a hobby a few years back. So if you have any plants that need taken care of; I’d love to help 🙂 Apart from that I like dance music (have been dj-ing in the past), nature in general (have done a biology-oriented bachelor), tech (am currently working as Software Developer), and am always up for a laugh and/or a beer. As an added bonus I can bring authentic ‘stroopwafels’ by the bucketload 😉
