Description
Hello! We are a family of 5 looking for a reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitter for 4 weeks at the end of the year. We have a very friendly jack russel/fox terrier cross called Arthur. He is 4 years old and will be needing care while we are away. We have a small veggie garden, a polytunnel and greenhouse that will need some watering, and houseplants that will also need some watering. Arthur loves people, loves throwing a stick to himself, he loves swimming in our local river and going for walks. We live in the stunning Ruapehu District near Mount Ruapehu. We have lots of beautiful local walks, trekking/tramping, fishing, mountain biking tracks nearby. The local Four Square with food and petrol is 4 minutes drive in National Park where you will also find the local pub with great food. We have a pub in the village as well. The bigger supermarkets are New World in Taumarunui or Turangi, both about 25-30 minutes drive. It is a rural location surrounded by stunning bush and wonderful bird song. There is no light pollution for amazing views of the night sky! We are hoping to find a lovely person or couple who would like a month in paradise and who loves dogs and nature.
