House/pet sitter wanted (free/not paid)

We are seeking an honest house/pet sitter, Single or Couple. We are semi rural Whangarei, Maungatapere. 12 Mins to Whangarei township. Our house is nothing flash but it is practical and cosy. Lots of beautiful beaches in Northland to explore

We have an elderly cat, 5 chickens and a blue tongue lizard.

Our big ginger cat George needs a bit of monitoring after recovering from a back injury. At present he has a sectioned off back door area and a catdoor to use He needs medication morning and night. This involves opening a capsule and emptying it in to his food and mixing it in. He is a relaxed cat. Mostly sleeps if not disturbed.

Most of our chickens are laying so you would be able to make use of the daily eggs. Feed pallets morning and night and top water up. also food scraps you may have left over.

Crunchie our Blue Tongue Lizard is also easy care. He sleeps a lot and may only have to be fed once which would involve thawing a ball of meat and popping into his enclosure for him to eat when he is ready and top up water bowl.

We would be leaving late afternoon Friday 23rd so you would need to arrive around 5pm that day in time for Georges dinner time. And we would estimate to arrive home afternoon sometime on Monday 26th.
