About
David and I love animals. We had a hobby farm on 2.5acres for 10 years outside Brisbane Australia. Married for over 20 years and travel Australia for work and the world on our bicycles for fun.
We had 2 beautiful dogs a chihuahua and kelpie. Both passed and still it breaks our hearts. Also 2 gorgeous cats who owned the house. We had a pig Sir oinkalot who lived under the house and played with the dogs. Our neighbours donkey Jack moved in with us for 3 years. Also chickens, ducks and a Guinea pig. They all lived harmoniously together. As Jez our kelpie got older we had to medicate her to help with bladder control and Nevaeh chihuahua passed at 16 going blind and with signs of dementia. We were patient and kind until the end. They went everywhere with us cafe and weekends away.
We want to move to NZ, my favourite country to visit. We have hiked many trails and also ridden the length of NZ 3000kms.
We would like to house sit to enjoy time with animals again and will walk any dogs in our care. Also to see which parts we could live.
We owned our own home on acreage so know how to look after lawns, gardens and small maintenance. David is a maintenance manager and plumber so handy if any issues.
