Ideal Candidate?
🧼 Clean & Tidy – I wipe, dust and polish, pull weeds, vacuum, put out rubbish, recycle, etc. I will generally keep your property, pets, and possessions well taken care of.
🌳 Lawns & Gardens – I love to keep a property well maintained. I will feed your indoor/outdoor plants, mow lawns, whatever it takes. I can provide my own water blaster, edge trimmer, lawnmower, or any tools required.
😻 Animal Care – I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, fish, axolotl, mice, rats, guinea pigs, chickens and other birds, a cheeky goat, and a lonely old donkey.
Why I’m on NZ House Sitters?
🏡 I’m moving out of a house I’ve rented for years on 7 April ’25, and find myself heading overseas for work from 24 May until 15 Sept. So, I’d just prefer not to get a rental until I return, and so I’m interested to house sit.
📦 My things would be in storage so I’ll be living light, and just working remotely from my laptop during the week.
My Globetrotting Career:
🇨🇦 I work for Shopify.com, the world’s second largest global commerce company after only Amazon. While the company is based in Canada where it was founded, there are >100 kiwis employed!
🐝 Over the years I’ve personally supported brands like Sony, Fashion Nova, Culture Kings, Walmart, Kylie Cosmetics, Billie Eilish, the Rolling Stones, and local heroes Arataki Honey!
⚙️ After years a technical expert and support manager in Enterprise support, I’ve now taken on a senior delivery role crafting that support experience we give household names and flash sellers.
