Hi there lovely New Zealand Housesitters,
We are heading up North, to Northland to our other home in Waipu for the festive season and New Year period to enjoy Whanau time. We know its a busy time planning your housesit travels so we are getting sorted early!
We offer a comfy large rural home on 11 acres only 10 minutes from the Papakura, Karaka or Drury turnoff from the southern Motorway. We are located in the rural Karaka district.
There is plenty of concrete parking for a caravan or mobile home.
We have two cats, who think they are human and 7 cows that will require moving through a paddock to a fresh paddock by opening a gate. They are friendly girls. Our free-range birds love a morning chat and seed on their saucers and apples on the fence posts. We also have a friendly magpie too, that loves left over cat food.
Our home offers a large covered deck, modern gas BBQ, brazier, wood and oodles of outdoor furniture for your friends and family fiesta’s, An added bonus is there are no rooftops or nosey neighbours, the space is yours!
Your accommodation is a wing of our home, with your own entrance. You have your own bathroom and toilet, three bedrooms with queen beds and space to spread about. We have a large kitchen with all that you need, comfy lounge and outdoor covered deck area. We have good WIFI, Netflix and SKY. We have big windows and lots of doors that open out to the deck or outside garden area. Our home is child friendly, and not near any roads.
Unless you want to use your own linen, we provide all linen and towels and kitchen linen. We have a great stock of herbs and spices, both dried and fresh.

ps: Oh, by the way, the Christmas tree will be up and festive decorations around to add to the vibe of your stay. Our place is suitable for flying kites and riding bikes, great for kids.
