Description
We live on a lifestyle block in North Canterbury, enjoying the rural lifestyle, but only 45 minutes from Christchurch.
We’re looking for housesitters for 3 weeks in August 26 to look after the house, our dog, cat and farm animals. We have pigs that need feeding daily, cows, sheep, ducks, geese and chickens that need looking after too!
farm experience is recommended as it’s likely that our ewes will be lambing around this time.
the house is warm and comfortable, with 3 bedrooms. There are some idiosyncrasies to the house, and there are parts that are not quite finished (perfectly liveable!), so it may not be suitable for very young children.
we have Starlink internet connection so good if you work remotely.
Our dog doesn’t play well with other dogs in her own space, so best not to bring a dog with you.
