Hi
We live on an 11 acre property just 3kms from the beach in sunny Te Horo and we consider ourselves lucky every day. Our home is modern, sunny and with a large covered deck facing the views and sunsets.
We live with two rather timid cats (sisters who were rescue kittens, now 11 years old). One is very shy of new people and the other likes strokes and knee sitting. They live outdoors, have automated feeders which are simple to maintain, and like fresh water a couple of times a day.
We also have chooks… five at present. They live in the orchard and only require daily feeding & fresh water. They supply lovely fresh eggs.
There really is little else to do. Sitters love our place, it’s tucked away and generally quiet… a very relaxed pace of life.
We travel regularly and have great friends to look after things for short trips… for longer trips we rely on great housesitters to enable us to create adventures. In January we will be cycling the Alps2Ocean route in the South Island and need a sitter for approx 4 weeks.
