Description
I’m looking for one reliable, genuinely cat-loving house sitter to care for my two cats and home while I’m away from 4 September, arriving that day, until daytime on 9 September, when I return.
This would suit someone calm, considerate and fairly low-key who understands that some cats need time, patience and a quiet environment before they feel comfortable.
My cats have indoor/outdoor access with a catflap, but tend to stay in at night. They can be quite nervous around new people. They may take a little while to come out of their shells, so it’s important to me that they have someone gentle. They are not difficult; they just do best with a relaxed person and a peaceful home.
The house is a private two-bedroom brick-and-tile home in Hillcrest, set up a long driveway with lovely views over the hills. It has a heat pump, generous-sized bedrooms and is around 15–20 minutes from town. Off-road parking is available outside the garage.
I’m looking for one person rather than a couple or group, as I would prefer my bedroom to remain as it is while I’m away. This is not a party house, so I’m looking for someone who is happy with a quiet stay. Previous experience with shy or nervous cats would be a real plus.
