About
Kia ora – my name is Jemma Hartley. I am a home owner and self-employed charity consultant who has completed local house sits in the Banks Peninsula.
I have a very flexible work schedule and this tends to work well for pet owners, who know their precious ones are getting lots of in-person time with me. I have experience:
- owning and caring for multiple dogs
- walking and running high-energy dogs multiple times a day
- living with and supporting anxious dogs
- fostering a blind dog
- house-sitting homes with cats

As a home-owner myself, I am comfortable with gardening, basic maintenance and troubleshooting if anything happens. I can provide previous house-sitting and character references.
Outside of mahi, I trail run, swim, read, bake, and love being an Aunty 💕 I don’t smoke or drink.
I am available for a weekend to several months, with particular interest in longer-term arrangements where I can get to know your pets and home. I have my own car, and am looking for house sits around Aotearoa.
