Description
We have 15 hectares 2 minutes drive to Morrinsville. Spacious home, Beautiful out look over our property, with no other house in site. We have a swimming pool. We run a few cattle and a couple of horses. We bred warmblood sport horses till a couple of years ago. We have the usual, cat and hens. We usually take our Britnay dog with us. We are supposedly retired, but that is a bit of a fallacy. We have a son, daughter in law and 5yr old Grand duaghter who live in another home on our property, and a son and his fiancee run a equine rehab and conditioning barn nearby.
My husband and I try to get away to our bach in the Marlborough sounds when possible, which is usally about 3 times a year.
We are easy going, ex South Island sheep and beef farmers.
We are looking for someone who is happy to mow lawns using a Walker ride on mower, feed the two horses, hens and cat. The cattle that might need a shift to another paddock. Also the pool will need the usual attention ie checking chlorine levels etc and seetting the automatic pool cleaner. If dry the garden might need watering from time to time. There will be plenty of time to do day excurssions, if you aren’t familiar with thee area.
We are also looking for sitters from approximately 20th March for 3 to 4 weeks.
