Kia ora, I’m a responsible and caring house and pet sitter based in New Zealand. With a deep appreciation for animals and a strong sense of responsibility, I take pride in providing top-quality care for homes and beloved pets while their owners are away.
Growing up in Mount Maunganui, I’ve always had animals in my life, particularly dogs, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and well cared for in their own environment. Whether it’s daily walks on the beach, playtime, feeding, or administering medication, I ensure pets receive the same love and attention they would from their owners.
Alongside pet care, I am highly reliable in maintaining homes, ensuring security, cleanliness, and general upkeep. I treat every home with the utmost respect, keeping it just as you left it. I’m experienced in managing household tasks such as collecting mail, watering plants, and overseeing any scheduled maintenance.

Amylea has looked after Mollie (Our Golden Spoodle dog) in our house on 2 occasions, the 2nd time was for 12 Nights. Amylea was Punctual, communicated well and took fantastic care of Mollie. During our Holiday we received photos of Mollie and she seemed very relaxed which reassured us that she was being well looked after. On our return the house was great and the neighbours said that Mollie had seemed very happy when they saw her out walking.

Would we use Amylea again. Obviously yes as we have booked her to look after Mollie again in July for 9 Nights. -
Amylea and her children did a fantastic job looking after both our home and our two doggos. She provided us with text updates and included pictures of the dogs getting thoroughly spoilt, that helped us to relax into our holiday knowing they were both happy. We returned to a lovely clean and tidy house, with the dishes clean and the laundry/bedding already in the washing machine. I couldn’t recommend Amylea more highly and the doggos give her a five bones out of five approval rating.
