Description
We are looking for a kind, reliable house sitter to stay in our home in beautiful Mount Pleasant, Christchurch, from 10 January to 5 February 2027, while we are away visiting family in South Africa.
We have two lovely dogs, Kobus, our Labrador, and Seuntjie, our small senior dog. Both are very easy to care for and are used to being part of the family. They both sleep inside the house at night. Seuntjie is getting older, which is why it is especially important to us that he can stay comfortably in his own home rather than going into kennels.
We also have two pigeons and two pet rats. Please don’t let that put you off! 😊 They are extremely easy to look after. The pigeons do not need to be handled or let out at all, and both the pigeons and rats simply need food and fresh water.
We will purchase and provide all food for all of our pets before we leave, and we will show you their simple routines beforehand.
Our main priority is finding someone trustworthy who genuinely enjoys animals and will give Kobus and Seuntjie some love and company while we’re away.
In return, you’ll have our comfortable Mount Pleasant home to enjoy for almost four weeks, in a beautiful part of Christchurch close to the Port Hills, Sumner, Redcliffs and the city.
We would love to meet you beforehand so you can meet our pets, see the house and make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
