About
Hello! I’m a trustworthy, caring and responsible mum from Whangārei Heads, Northland, currently looking for house-sitting opportunities around Waikanae and the wider Kāpiti Coast throughout 2027.
I’ll be travelling with my beautiful 19-month-old daughter, Maeve, while my partner is working in Australia for the year. We’re looking forward to experiencing somewhere new, making memories together and enjoying a change of scenery.
I’m an animal lover through and through and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for all sorts of animals, having owned dogs, cats, horses and chickens myself. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routines and needs, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they’re happy, comfortable and well cared for.
I’m also very respectful of other people’s homes and belongings. I take pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and cared for, just as I would my own. I’m trustworthy, reliable and understand the importance of following instructions and maintaining a home while its owners are away.
Maeve is a lovely, kind little girl. She’s used to being around animals and is learning to respect boundaries and understand what is and isn’t hers. She’s also very good at understanding what not to touch thats not for little hands.. She sleeps alongside me/in same bedroom, so we don’t require an additional bedroom.
I’m happy to provide personal references from people who can vouch for my trustworthiness, kindness and the care I take with other people’s homes and belongings.
I’m hoping to find some lovely longer-term house-sitting opportunities where we can settle in, care for your home and animals as if they were our own, and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away.
