Description
We are looking for a reliable, animal-loving house sitter to look after our home and much-loved pets while we are away.
We live in a modern four-bedroom home on a sheep and beef farm in the beautiful Canterbury foothills. It’s a peaceful rural setting with lovely views and plenty to explore nearby.
The main priority while we are away will be looking after Rosie, our gorgeous French Bulldog, who is very affectionate and loves company and attention, along with our two cats, who are much more independent! There are no farm duties involved except for checking the chickens and eggs and making sure they have food and water – our farm animals will be taken care of separately by our staff.
Our home is modern, warm and comfortable with Wi-Fi, Sky TV and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
We are close to some beautiful parts of Canterbury, including Washpen Falls, Rakaia Gorge and Terrace Downs, with plenty of opportunities for walking, exploring and enjoying the outdoors. Methven is also within easy driving distance.
We would love to find someone (or a couple) who is trustworthy, tidy and, most importantly, genuinely enjoys animals. Rosie will happily provide plenty of company while you’re here!
A car would be essential due to our rural location.
We’d be very happy to hear a little about you and your previous house/pet-sitting experience.
