Hi! My name is Stuart, I’m a 53-yr old single professional (non-smoker) who currently has the luxury of being able to work remotely. Originally from the UK I’m now a NZ resident and am incredibly excited to use this as an opportunity to explore NZ so I can decide where I might end up permanently. I have my own vehicle and to keep things simple I bring with me everything I need, including kitchen pans and utensils (if required). I grew up with animals, but I’ve been renting and so it’s been a few years since I’ve had a pet of my own. I’ve had a few trial months house-sitting for friends with cats and looking after friends’ dogs while they’ve been away, and I’ve absolutely loved it. I’m extremely active and am more than happy to take on any gardening duties required. I’m currently based in the South Island, but I was sitting in the Wairarapa last year so would consider coming up to the North Island should the opportunity arise. If there is a phone signal (I have my own internet connection) then I’d be just as happy in a rural, village or town setting.
