My name is Maren. I’m originally from Germany and have been living and travelling around New Zealand for the past two years. I’m now looking for house sitting opportunities so I can have a stable base while planning my more settled life in New Zealand.
I’m an organised, respectful and reliable person who values routine and clear communication. I feel happiest in tidy, harmony filled places and take good care of my own home and those entrusted to me.
I’m comfortable looking after a house, garden and pets, and following any schedules or specific instructions you may have. I have been house sitting for a family in Te Atatu and a couple in Mount Eden recently, looking after their home and taking care of their cats as well as a rabbit.
I know your home is a special place and your pets are part of your family. I would love to offer you peace of mind that everything is well cared for while you’re away.

We have just returned from a month away, while Maren cared for our home and beloved fur babies. We are SO grateful to Maren who took such great care of our home – the perfect balance of updates and communication while also taking initiative and taking care of whatever needed to be done.
We have returned to an immaculate home with very happy and healthy (high needs) bunny and very fussy cat – who are both probably missing her already.
