My name is Maren. I’m originally from Germany and have been living and travelling around New Zealand for the past year and a half. I’m now looking for house-sitting opportunities so I can have a stable base while planning my more settled life in New Zealand.
I’m an organised, respectful and reliable person who values routine and clear communication. I feel happiest in tidy, harmony filled places and take good care of my own home and those entrusted to me.
I’m comfortable looking after a house, garden and pets, and following any schedules or specific instructions you may have. I’ve cared for friends’ dogs as well as small animals and birds before.
While I haven’t formally house-sat yet, I’ve been WWOOFing and volunteering with ecological and animal rescue organisations around New Zealand. I’m very happy to provide character references if needed.
