Description
Hi all,
We live in the beautiful rural area of Maraekakaho, half an hour’s drive from Hastings and 40 mins to Napier. We built our home three years ago. The house sits on an acre on a farm park development. We have a gorgeous view of the Ngaruroro River, the mountains and farm animals. We are in the wine-growing region of the Hawkes Bay, with an abundance of vineyards close by and river access a short drive away. We’re also close enough to Hastings and Napier to explore there easily too.
Our house has all the mod cons, streaming services, outside living space etc. We have chooks so lots of delicious free-range eggs too! Feel free to help yourself to anything in the vege garden too.
We are heading away in April and would love to find a trusted house sitter to stay in our property. We have a giant breed dog called Arthur. He is a gentle giant, very loving, spends most of his day asleep and has a low exercise requirement. We also have a female Staffy called Cookie who is very affectionate, loves kids and a daily walk.
We have 10 chooks to care for, although they are very easy and don’t need much. We also have a big vegetable garden and tunnel house so a bit of watering while we are away would be great too.
We go away for weekends throughout the year and it would be great to find somebody local who would be available for shorter stints also.
