Description
We’re looking for a reliable and caring house sitter to look after our home and our much-loved 10-year-old Vizsla while we’re away.
Our home is in Kuratau, a quiet and peaceful village on the southern side of Lake Taupō, approximately 15 minutes from Tūrangi. The lake is around a 10-minute walk away, and the area is safe, relaxed and a lovely spot to enjoy some downtime.
We have a modern three-bedroom home set on a large, fully fenced and secure two-acre property. The house has all the modern comforts, including Wi-Fi, a large TV and all the usual streaming platforms, so there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Our 10-year-old Vizsla is very affectionate and loves company, but at his age he’s also quite happy spending plenty of time sleeping and relaxing. He generally exercises himself around the property, so there’s no requirement for daily walks, although you’re very welcome to take him out walking if you’d like to.
There are no other animals to care for and no particular housekeeping or property maintenance required — we simply ask that you treat our home with care and leave it as you found it.
We would prefer an individual or couple without children or other pets. You will also need your own vehicle, as Kuratau is a small village and you’ll need to drive into Tūrangi or the surrounding area for shops and other amenities.
This would suit someone looking for a peaceful, comfortable place to stay while enjoying the Lake Taupō region, with the company of a very loving (and fairly relaxed!) Vizsla.
