About
Hi, I’m Jo and I am an active 60 year old who owns her own home in Papamoa and works remotely part time.
I enjoy bike rides, walks, fishing, jigsaws and I am a keen gardener. I’m a non smoker and enjoy the occasional wine.
I have been house sitting for friends and family these last years and have enjoyed being in new spaces and spending time with their pets. So given my flexibility I would like to offer to look after other people’s homes and pets.
My family have had dogs and cats over the years. I take the responsibility of caring for other people’s furry (and non furry) friends seriously and I am happy to provide regular updates of how your pets are going as often as you would like while you are away. Please note, given my small stature I would be more suited to look after small to mid size pets.
I am more than happy to mow lawns, weed gardens and take care of house plants.
I understand the importance of looking after your home as I am very house proud myself.

Jo was a fabulous. house sitter and I would not hesitate. to have her back or to recommend her to anyone. She communicated efficiently and clearly. The dogs loved her and even our moody cats were happy to allow her to pet them, which is a rarity! Jo was fantastic in the lead up to our housesit, coming over to meet us and to go on a trial walk with the dogs. Our puppy has some separation anxiety and Jo was really understanding and made sure she didn’t spend any extended periods alone. This is exactly what we needed and it meant we could go away and enjoy our holiday without worrying about what was going on back home.
