Description
We need a housesitter for our rural home in Coalgate. Coalgate is a small community with access to some sweet tourist spots in Canterbury.
We need some dog lovers! We have two dogs. Alfie – Small (Pug x Westie) and Maria – Medium (Springer Spaniel, takes time to warm up to people)
There are not many walking requirements as they will be satisfied with backyard fetch if you are on a busy schedule. They are content to be home during the day if you are out on adventures, but I will disclose that they don’t like to be left home alone in the dark for very long. Maria has a strange habit of howling (only when the sun goes down if shes alone).

10 minutes to Darfield, the Biggest ice cream in New Zealand great bakery!
40 minutes to Methven, Mountain access (Snow or Mountain biking), solar-powered hot pools!
1.5hr to Arthurs Pass Village (Alpine)
40mins – 1.5hr to Christchurch (Depending on which side of Christchurch)
