Semi retired chef now pet and house sitter

Hi there all

I am a semi retired professional chef who has been Living and working in New Zealand for the last 35 years. I am a proud father of my daughter who gifted me with three grandchildren. I am travelling the country in my caravan and looking for places to house/ pet sit. I love all types of animals and have a passion for plants. I have been living and working in beautiful New Zealand since 1990 My daughter has grown up now and living with her own family. I was fortunate enough to have the daily enjoyment growing up of playing with and caring for: cats, dogs, cows, calves, pony’s, horses, rabbits, hares, pigeons, goats, guinea fowls, chickens, parakeets, gold fish,tropical fish and pigs. I am a quiet healthy person who likes being in the outdoors. I have no criminal background, am non smoking, no drugs, no alcohol. Now that I have extra time on my hands I would love to travel around and help people out caring for their beloved pets, home, garden etc. I house-pet-sit for people who are travelling and need someone to live in their home while they are away. I care for their furry family members so they don’t have to be left in a kennel or have to rely on a neighbour or friend with their upkeep and also to keep the home lived in so that it won’t be a burglary target. I can exercise your dogs, groom your cats, talk to your parrots, water your plants and garden, keeping the premises neat and tidy, keep your house clean etc and provide a continuous presence to deter burglars. I have my own car so there is no need to provide transport for me (but i can start your car regularly to keep it running smoothly).

Your fur babies welfare is my number one priority and i will ensure they are well-loved and looked after during your absence. I can update you regularly as often as you prefer, with email, WhatsApp etc. as I know how much we end up missing them while away. Upon your return you will find your pets and your home in the same, or better condition as you left. I give you the peace of mind to truly enjoy your time away. I love all sorts of animals and have experience with different species, and always worked and cared for them one way or another. I would love to be your next pet/house sitter and look forward to caring for your homes and your pets.
