Kia ora. This is our first time trying this process so if we miss anything or it’s not the right information, please forgive us. Just message us for any questions 🙂
We have a semi-rural easy maintenance 1-acre property about 40 mins northwest of Auckland. Home is a warm and sunny family home. Our main priority while we are away is our beautiful 14 year old cuddly cat. We are close with our friendly neighbours so she’s fine for around 5 days but we are looking to holiday for longer. We just want her to know that we haven’t abandoned her and that if we’re not home, someone else can give her cuddles. Hoping to find someone to stay for anywhere from 3 days – 10 days, depending on what works for you so she’s not home for more than 5 days by herself. Ideally you are a single person or couple. We are a family home and we would prefer not to have the kids rooms utilise so they don’t have to pack away their beloved toys. Our home is around 20 years old, comfortable and loved by a family.
On the 1 acre, we would just ask for some help in watering the garden if it needs it and you’re welcome to harvest. We have a small pool that goes up for summer and you’re welcome to swim in it and maintain it daily if you do. If you don’t, we would appreciate it just being checked once and filter changed but if you’re not comfortable doing that, neighbours can.
