Far North Coastal Housesit – 30 Days | April–May 2027 🐾🌊
I’m looking for a reliable, experienced house and pet sitter for approximately 30 days from 26 April 2027 at my parents’ beautiful coastal property on the Karikari Peninsula in the Far North.
The home is a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom property with lovely sea views, a fully fenced section and the beach within walking distance. Plus many others just a few minutes drive. It’s a peaceful spot and a gorgeous place to settle in for a month.
🐶 The main priority: Lola
You’ll be looking after my 6-year-old French Bulldog, Lola. She’s a gorgeous little companion, but Frenchies can be higher-maintenance dogs, so I’m specifically looking for someone who is confident with dogs and ideally has experience with French Bulldogs or other brachycephalic breeds.
Lola loves her short walks and company, and her safety is really important to me.
A few non-negotiables:
- Lola must always be walked on a lead because she has hip dysplasia
- She must never be left outside in the yard unattended when you leave the property.
- I’m looking for someone who will be predominantly based at the property throughout the housesit. Day trips and normal outings are absolutely fine, but this wouldn’t suit someone planning to regularly be away for long periods as she can’t be left on her own.
- You must be ID verified and have previous housesitting/pet-sitting references.
- Please be comfortable following Lola’s normal routine and any care instructions provided.
🏡 The house
The property itself is relatively low-maintenance, so there isn’t a huge list of household jobs. The main thing, aside from caring for Lola, will be watering quite a few indoor plants and generally keeping the house clean and cared for.
In return, you’ll have a lovely coastal home to yourself for a month, a garage to park in, with sea views and the beach just a walk away — a pretty special little corner of the Far North. 🌿🌊
I’d love to find someone mature, trustworthy and genuinely happy to spend plenty of time at home with Lola. If you think you’d be a good fit, please tell me a little about yourself, your dog/pet-sitting experience and any experience you have with Frenchies or similar breeds.
