Description
We own a lovely house based in Kaitaia in the far north. We are on the edge of town – 1 min to paknsave – but still have lovely views looking north up to the cape. West coast beaches are 20 mins one way, east coast beaches are 30 mins the other. Its a great spot for a summer holiday, We have a moderate/large section that we have converted the back half to a free range poultry enclosure with 2 x Chickens and 10 x ducks. They are all pets and have their own names, and produce a large amount of eggs to earn their keep. We also have 2 x cats, a Bengal named Mochi and a Calico called boots, neither of these two do anything to earn their keep however are both friendly and love to keep you company while chilling in the house or out in the garden. We have large garden beds and multiple fruit trees we have planted around the property as we are trying to get the most out of the land.
We would be looking for sitters to be at the house in the morning and evening to feed the cats and keep them company, let the ducks out in the morning and put them away into their house at night, fill their pond and automatic feeders every 4-6 days, and water the garden/fruit trees in the evenings. The whole rest of the day would be free for exploring all the wonderful beaches and other sites throughout northland. If this sounds like a bit of you we would love to chat.
